Contact Thrive Story to organise a live storytelling with Liz Locksley
Liz Locksley is co-founder with AIRAH’s Phil Wilkinson of Humans of HVACR. Humans of HVACR is a sector-wide collaboration to humanise and transform what is possibly the most invisible industry, with the greatest potential to reverse global warming - heating ventilation air-conditioning and refrigeration. Liz is the story and secret sauce mix master. Mechanical heating, cooling and refrigeration is the elephant in the plant room. The equipment collectively chews through 22% of all electricity generated in Australia! Refrigerant management is the surprising #1 action to reverse global warming in Paul Hawken's latest project #Drawdown.
Turquoise Elephant is a new regenerative program which promises to be wickedly serious fun – with doughnuts. Thrive Story's Liz Locksley brings to the Turquoise Elephant collective her experience in climate policy, storytelling and behaviour change programs. The Turquoise Elephant collective, founded by Deb Collins of Conscious Works is a multi-disciplinary team of facilitators, leadership coaches, theatre sports coaches and performing artists.
The Turquoise Elephant invites us to jump into the divides that separate us. In a playful way we encompass left and right, deniers and activists. Together we stare down such wicked problems as climate change, and question what it might take for each of us to step up into a more complex world of multiple stories.
